I picked up this particular unit because we have an old-school wall unit in our family room and this was the biggest model I could get into the cabinet. I needed a screen that was no wider than 35.5 inches. Most 37" models are wider than that. It's connected to a Comcast DVR with an HDMI cable that I also picked up from Amazon. I really don't use a lot of the inputs on these TVs, but there are 4 HDMI inputs. The design of the TV is nice and it's very slim and lightweight. Once I had it connected, I did have to futz with the picture and audio because the defaults were not good, at least to me. The TruSurround and TruVolume audio controls were set to ON and I turned them off. I also boosted the bass and raised the treble a little bit. For the picture, I turned off the Ambient light sensor and changed the picture mode to "GAME" which seemed like the brightest. I also changed the SMOOTH MOTION from medium to high. I've had this TV for about a month now. Just mounted it on my wall with no issues. Like everything about it except I wish the Vizio logo would not stay on when the TV is off. When the TV is on the Vizio logo lights up white which is fine. When you turn the TV off, the logo dims. In the dark, it is like having a nightlight or the same brightness as an alarm clock. Wish there was an option to turn that off or I wish Vizio wouldn't make the TV that way.

Other than that, the TV is great. Love the picture, sound and thin design of the TV. Would recommend it!

Really nice picture! We had a close fit in a built in, and it was easy to set up and fit in the space. We found the sound system to be just fine and had no problems at all with the picture. Added an HD box from our cable company to get the extra HD channels--super clarity! Would definitely buy additional VIZIO TVs of this type.
